Clicking on the ESB logo will always take you back to the
ESB home page.
Clicking on underlined text will do
something that depends on the context. If you click on a link to a
geographic location, a website from Mapquest will
open with the
appropriate map, in a separate window. If it is an email requesting a reservation or meeting, the browser
will launch your email program and create an email, usually with the
appropriate subject typed in. Any other underlined text will link to another
web page. For users of Microsoft's Internet Explorer, the link's address
will show in the lower left of the browser. Netscape's browser will show the
address in a pop-up box next to your pointer.
This site has been designed to load quickly with a
reasonable amount of graphics. A more self-indulgent site, for
high-bandwidth connections, is on the way.
In order to save a file, right-click with your mouse over the link. A small menu will pop up; move the mouse down to 'Save Target As...'. A box will pop up (see picture on the right). Select the location you want the file to be placed and click on the 'Save' button.
